If the situation is opposite to what was discussed before, if the perfectionist is not meeting the given deadlines and creating problems for others by their work styles, then it is your duty to conduct a detailed discussion and explain to them about how others are being affected by their working style and also let them know on how it is affecting the overall team’s performance. Sensitively explain to him, that everyone needs to adjust with each other’s work and work accordingly to meet the given target.
