3. Narayan Murthy:



N. R. Narayan Murthy is one among the six founders of the Infosys which was started in the year 1981. Narayan Murthy completed his degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore University in the year 1967; later in 1969 he received his master’s degree from IIT Kanpur. He started his profession as the chief systems programmer at the IIM Ahmedabad. After his service in IIMA he started his own company named Softronics in the year 1976. But as the company failed to make a good mark, Murthy joined Patni Computer Systems in Pune. Later he settled down in Pune, with the help of his wife Sudha Murthy who invested 10,000 he founded the company Infosys with six other engineers. He has served as the CEO of Infosys for 21 years.
