2. Chanda Kochhar:



Chanda Kochhar is the present Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, which is the second largest bank in India. After she shifted her base from Jodhpur to Mumbai she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Jai Hind College and later pursued Cost Accountancy, after that she completed her Masters degree in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. In the year 1984, she joined ICICI as the management trainee after she completed her Masters Degree. In her early days as an employee at ICICI, she was made responsible to handle project appraisal and was monitoring projects in various industries that included petrochemicals, Textile, paper and cement. Kochhar was sent as a part of core team to ICICI bank in the year 1993 to set the bank. Later, under her leadership, ICICI bank started the retail business in the year 2000. She occupied the post as the Executive Director of the ICICI bank in April 2001.
