Mail Carrier
Median Salary: $53,100
Hiring Outlook: -28 percent

The ability to share documents and other files through e-mail and cloud services has made a big dent in the courier business. In fact, soon or later, we could see the bike delivery messenger fade away and make way for emails and other new services in this job field. According to the Bureau of labor Statistics report, technology shifts are hurting the postal service, therefore mail-carrier positions are being projected to reduce by an estimated 28 percent by 2022.The other factor that haunts this job is lack of adaptability of newer technology and that has contributed to its downfall. Individuals at present use the e-mail facility, which provides faster access than the old schooled door deliveries. And this is the issue that will further decline the numbers of postal service workers in the near future.
