1. Ecuador



This Spanish spoken South American country shows a -23 percent gender gap. While 82 percent of men are employed in full-time or part-time jobs, only 59 percent women are employed in Ecuador.

The Ecuadorian Constitution forces every child to attend nine years of compulsory schooling which is to offer basic level of education here. Ecuador is one of the countries which ishonored of accommodating some of the oldest universities: University of San Fulgencio founded in 1586, San Gregorio Magno University founded in 1651, and University of Santo Tomas of Aquino founded in 1681. Country has around 61 universities as well.
