Bangalore: Though, the uproars to level playing field for both men and women could bring a significant change, still in our modern workplace gender gap remains in a huge level. Women still struggle to gain their footing at workplace. A new study by Gallup identified a fourth of the countries has a wide gender gap in the workplace. This study has taken in account of the number of both men and women in full-time or part-time employment and estimated the difference between them.

While the report has revealed countries like Ireland and United Kingdom also found gender gap, but it favors women where in Ecuador shows huge negative gender gap which does not favor women but affects. Not only developing countries, even the European Union member, Italy was found to have a gender gap of 13 percent. This Gallup study was done in 144 countries with 187,119 people.
