4. Not Responding To Application:



Most applicants prefer to receive an acknowledgment, stating that their resume has been received. This acknowledgement can be in the form of a call, personalized note or a standard auto response that thank them for applying and let them know that they will only be contacted if they are chosen for the interview process. This is because when an individual applies for a job through email or online, he / she will never know with utmost conviction that the resume got through unless they receive a conformation, as there is a possibility that emails hits spam filters, go to wrong addresses, or the computers can even freeze up and fail to process. Sending an acknowledgement / conformation and letting the candidates know that their resumes have been received makes them feel that their chances are upbeat and rests on the plus points of their application, not blocked by a technical glitch, which is fare.
