BANGALORE: Job satisfaction can be measured in a lot of ways, but unfortunately, many people think that earning a hefty paycheck means working on boring jobs and long hours. And if you are one among those people thinking the same, then throw away that thought as there is an exciting job that doesn't make you groan each morning and rightfully pays you a great wage. Take a look at 10 such jobs, as reported by Aaron Crowe of Wallet Pop.



Astronaut:
Annual salary: $100,000

What could be more fun than floating in space? According to NASA, salaries for civilian astronaut candidates are based on the federal government's general schedule pay scale for grades GS-12  and GS-13. Each person's grade is determined by their academic achievements and experience. Currently, a GS-12 basic pay starts at $65,140 per year and a GS-13 can earn up to $100,701 per year.



Astronaut is a tough job, so individuals who is physically fit and meets the basic qualifications can have opt for this profession. But for other professions like mission specialists and pilot astronauts, the minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or math, or any related course.  Pilot astronauts need to have at least 1,000 hours of flying experience in jet aircraft, and they require a better vision compared to that of mission specialists.
