Software Engineer: This is one job that is been so constant in providing employment over the years and it will continue to be so. Software engineers are responsible for the complete life cycle of a new or a modified software product. These individuals work on the design, development, maintenance and evaluation of computer software and systems. Software engineers' duties can vary depending on the company, but some of these professionals even work for developing new applications and project planning to upgrading existing software and providing security support. Most employers prefer software engineer graduates with a degree in computation, software engineering, physics, mathematics and electronics or with a degree in related field.  For graduates without computing experience or an appropriate qualification, a postgraduate IT conversion course could land you a job in this profession.




Average Annual Base Salary: 1.67 lakh to 6.43 lakh as per PayScale
