Unemployment rate: 18.1 percent recorded as per the first three months of 2012.

As per the recent report released by the National Institute of Statistics, there was a slight decrease in the unemployment rate for the first three months of 2012.  The unemployment rate has dropped from 18.9 percent as of the fourth quarter of 2011 to 18.1 percent according to the rate during the first three months of 2012. Accordingly, in the nation there is approximately around 3.9 million workforce and in that around 700,000 citizens are unemployed.
