Unemployment Rate: 19.8 percent [As per the official figures released by State Bureau of Statistics]



The Government new schemes for job growth in the country might have not worked so far in the country. As of now, the country has announced about the new infrastructure projects that have been estimated to be more than $ 13 billion. This move might be helpful for the country to fight its unemployment. In August 2008, the unemployment rate was reported to be 12.3 percent, which is considered to be the lowest in the past ten years.
