IIM-C, the institution renowned for its finance-related courses, is slotted at the second position in the list. Established on November 13th 1961, it is the only Indian institution that is a member of the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS).



Some of the prestigious honours garnered by this institution includes the 2nd position across India by Outlook and Business Today in 2013, 9th position in the QS Global 200 Business Schools Report in the Asia-Pacific region for 2012 and an entry in the renowned Financial Times (FT) Global Masters in Management B-School Rankings in 2013. In India, it was ranked 2nd by the Business Today 50 best business schools of 2011, and 3rd by the Hindustan Times India's top 50 business schools of 2011 and by the 2012 edition of CNBC-TV18's Top B-Schools in India.
