Asian Paints is an Indian chemicals company headquartered at Mumbai. This firm known for its marketing prowess began as a daring experiment in 1941 by four friends who were willing to take over the largest MNC paint operations in the country at that time.

Asian Paints is currently the largest paint company in India and third largest paint company in Asia. The company has an active work force of 4,640 in the year 2011 and operates in 17 different countries around the world.
