Halloween pumpkin carving is a time-honored tradition, but you can use your creative abilities to earn scholarship money.
The Wholesale Halloween Costumes Scholarship is offered to part time and full time college students. One applicant will be selected to receive a $500 scholarship award. The deadline is stacked at Nov. 15, 2014 so start sending in your photos.
Starfleet Members
Since 1990, the Starfleet Scholarship has been available for members of a fan club called Starfleet International, but not many have gone on to reach it. Although it is a series of smaller scholarships covering specific fields of study, it has presented monetary scholarships to special active Starfleet members who are attending community colleges, four-year colleges, most technical schools, junior colleges,  universities or graduate school. The deadline is July 15, 2015 and offers are worth up to $1,000.
