VMware, the brainchild of Diane Greene, Mendel Rosenblum, Scott Devine, Edward Wang and Edouard Bugnion, is another company that is said to have grueling interviews. The interview difficulty score for this firm which specializes in providing cloud and virtualization software and services is 3.2, while 75 percent of the respondents reported to have come across a positive experience during the screening process.    



7. Salesforce.com



The screening process at Salesforce.com, which is a company best known for its customer relationship management (CRM) products, is marked among the most difficult ones. As per the respondents, the company which is was ranked as the most innovative company in the U.S. by Forbes magazine is one of the toughest places to get in because of its tough screening process. The firm garnered an interview difficulty rating of 3.3 and nearly 60 percent of the applicants were happy with the overall screening experience.
