Farming is one of the most dangerous jobs in India. It accounts for one quarter of all work related deaths in India. They are also prone to health issues such as hypothermia, dehydration, sun burns, heat stroke, salmonella, ringworm infection, leptosporosis, giardia and more. In addition, confined spaces such as manure pits or milk vats may contain unsafe atmosphere, which can cause suffocation or poisoning.
