2.  Luxembourg–$19,426 per year



Employee centric policies and relatively simple wage structure are the USP of Luxembourg, which is popularly known as ‘Green Heart of Europe’. As per the law which was enacted on 1st October 2011, the minimum wage of an unqualified worker who is 18 years and above is €1,801.49. The amount increases by about 20 percent if the worker is considered to be skilled or qualified.

Holland is the place to be if you are an employee. This is because apart from being a country where employees work the least, it also offers the highest minimum wages compared to any other nation.



Workers who are at least 23 years old are entitled for a minimum of €66.77 every day, or €333.85 every week or €1,446.60 every month. For those below the age of 23, the amounts may fall to anything between 30 to 85 percent. While the mandatory bonuses and benefits are an added plus.
