Bangalore: What do you thing is the most damaging prospect on your resume; hopping jobs, a criminal record, age or long term unemployment?

As per the findings of the survey conducted by Bullhorn, the global leader in online recruiting software, job hopping is the most damaging prospect and has a long lasting implication on an individual’s future.

The survey of around 1,500 respondents, which included recruiters and hiring managers of various organizations, revealed that 39 percent of the recruiters believed that the single biggest barrier for an unemployed candidate from landing a job, is having a history of hoping jobs or switching companies before one year of tenure, a path often taken by younger workforce. 31 percent of the recruiters felt that being jobless for more than a year, considered it as the greatest challenge in landing a job, while 28 percent felt having gaps in ones employment history as the most hindering factor.
