BANGALORE: U.S. is the new destination for Indian students seeking quality education which is leaving countries like china and others scrambling for answers.

According to a report conducted by Council of Graduate Schools a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C. the information in the report revealed that the number of applicants to U.S. graduate schools from India grew by 32 percent in the past year, following a 22 percent  rise from the previous year. The report also reveled a parallel decline in Chinese applications, which fell by 1 percent this past year and 3 percent the year before. The survey was conducted taking into consideration of 294 colleges and universities that were responsible in giving the desired result.

If the current trend continues we may soon see India surpass China in the number of graduate students it sends to the United States. In fact in 2013 alone, the number of Indian students taking the graduate record examination rose by 70 percent and this ensured that India has already overtaken China in the number of test takers.
