4. Subramanian Ramadorai: S. Ramadorai, holds a rank equivalent to an Indian Cabinet Minister, as he is the advisor to the Prime Minister of India in the National council on skill development, government of India. Besides that, he is the chairman of Tata Elxsi and Vice-Chairman of Tata Consultancy Services. Initially he was the CEO and managing Director of TCS but his tenure as a CEO ended on October 5, 2009. S. Ramadorai received both his primary and secondary education at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Delhi University, and then completed engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1960 S. Ramadorai, started his career in TCS as a junior engineer, but he worked hard and rose through the ranks in the company and in 1979, he was finally charged with setting up TCS' operations in the United States in New York City.
