Women with graduation or more are far less engaged at 33 percent, than 51 percent of male graduates in the country. Also, the study found that women who have worked for five years or more in a company are ever more likely to be engaged than women who have spent less than five years at the same workplace. In terms of recommending your firm to others, only 49 percent women tend to do so compared to 58 percent men.

“A lot is happening in larger organizations when it comes to removing the physical barriers to work, including pickups and drops, and flexitime. Enlightened organizations have been providing that but despite that engagement level is lower in women and that led us to wonder why women are more disengaged at work,” said Pallavi Jha, Chairperson, Dale Carnegie Training India.
