Information Sciences And Systems Major
Median Pay: 2.05 lakh
The Information Sciences and systems degree, which is seen as one of the broader IT qualifications saw graduates and entrants seeking federal, and state Government jobs bringing in 2.05 lakh on average for newly hired grads, followed not far behind by professionals in the manufacturing sector. Professional scientific and technical services lost ground slightly on starting salaries, and the number of graduates decreased.
Computer Engineering
Median Pay: 2.63 Lakh
Like previous year the computer engineering degrees, in most cases, made the modest of gains. Professional, scientific, and technical services saw a 7 percent increase in pay over previous salary surveys. Whereas the Computer engineers working in the manufacturing industry is expected to make median salary of 2.63 with a bachelor's degree, the highest of any for this area of discipline. Information Technology came in a close second on average salaries for graduates. However, individuals with computer engineering degrees in enterprise management lost 3 percent on starting salaries year over year.
