Here is a detailed list on how George Hu made those quick leaps up in the corporate ladder.



1. In the year 2002, George Hu joined Salesforce.com as an intern later he continued there as a project manager.



2. In 2003, he became the Director of product marketing.



3.  In the year 2004, he was promoted as the Vice President of sales force automation.



4.  In 2005, he became the Senior Vice-President of applications.



5.  In 2006, he was designated as the Chief Marketing Officer.



6. From 2007 to 2010, he was in charge as the Executive Vice President in different departments namely in 2007 for products and marketing department, in 2008 for marketing and alliances and in 2010 for the platform and marketing department.



7. In 2011, George Hu was designated as the Chief Operating Officer of the company in the month of November and at present he owns all the major shared operational functions at the company that includes information technology, employee success, facilities and security, global marketing, corporate development etc, reports the Company website.
