As per the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statics) report, job opportunities for these professionals are projected to rise by a stunning rate of 31 percent, which is faster than the average for all the professions. Also, the ongoing research linking general health and oral health is likely to add to the demand of these professionals.  

Completion of a two year program at an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India is essential to land a job in this line of work. And as per PayScale, these professionals bag a pay package that is in the range of 0.79 lakh to 8.05 lakh per annum.
