Bangalore: Landing a dream job isn’t the end of the road, it is just the beginning. Do bear in mind that the first 90 days of your new job are the most critical period that can make or break your future career aspirations.

Here is a brief overview of the biggest mistakes that people generally make at the start of a new job, as listed by Rediff.com.

1. Acting as If You ‘Know It All’:

As per Russell Jonson, who is a career expert, one of the biggest howlers that most people commonly make is that they don’t seek enough help and feign too much confidence.

As per him, seeking help during the initial stages is not a bad thing, as by doing so an aspiring individual is actually acknowledging that he/she is a newcomer and there are a lot of complicated things that they don’t understand. And Jonson added that, asking for assistance will provide greater opportunities to learn and will help build better relationships with the colleagues.
