BANGALORE: Out of college and on a hunt for a dream job or a prospective job opportunity? Well, you may be preparing yourself for that interview day, but brace up for avoiding the unwanted things that annoys your employer.

Here are a few things compiled by Rediff, which are to be kept in mind before you go out to impress your employer to get the job you want

Unpreparedness

As you prepare for your exams, you need to take the interview session seriously, though you have faced many interviews before.

Recruiters are not always the same and the requirement and the questions asked may vary.

Brace yourself to give answers about the company.  Make sure to do a research about the company and its recent activities like mergers, acquisitions or their growth and expansion plans.

Apart from these things equip yourself with questions for your interviewer. Basic interview etiquettes are to carry relevant documents which includes a resume, so do not forget to do that and go through a few mock interviews with a friend.
