6. Organizational Development Consultant:



Organizational development consultants aid large corporate houses to make large-scale decisions such as restructurings, mergers or changes in management. It’s their job to see how the system functions as a whole, find problem areas and make necessary adjustments.



The job description of these professionals includes reviewing, designing, and developing all aspects of the development functions of a business organization. They are also responsible for reviewing current development programs to ensure inclination towards company’s goals, facilitate implementation of appropriate change management programs and develop training programs. In addition, they are responsible for continually maintaining the human capital stock of the firm, measuring performance to gauge success of programs and most of all encourage employee development.



The job requires these professionals to be familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures, along with a wide degree of creativity and autonomy. And the job extensively relies on experience, judgment to plan and inclination towards accomplishment of goals.
