Bangalore: Despite gains in educational attainment, Big pay gap among college majors are bugging most of the recent grads. While fresh grads with a technical degree are the most sought after who enjoy healthy pay packages, the same does not hold for grads with a non-technical or other degree.

#7. Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering:



This is amongst the most popular courses in the country. There is innumerable number of employment opportunities for grads with degree in this field; with the chief recruiter being ISRO. Other major recruiters include DRDO, National Aeronautical Laboratory, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Defense Ministry and Civil Aviation Department.



As per the PayScale website, the starting salaries for these grads are approximately 1.17 lakhs to 14.19 lakhs.
