2. Game Designer



Median Salary: 4.18 lakh/annum



Projected Growth: 14 Percent



These are professionals who are paid to develop video or computer games and are responsible for developing the plot, theme and rules of these games. Once the basic story and framework is developed, game designers take their ideas to artists and sound designers who are responsible for creating the visual and audio portions of the game.



Organizational skills, computer knowledge, familiarity with gaming, creativity, problem-solving abilities, communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are some of the essential skills and requirements to be a successful game designer.



Professional degree in computer science, art or 3D animation, as per the area of expertise is the entry level educational requirements to become a game designer.
