3. Architect



Median Salary: 4.01 lakh/annum

An architect is an amalgamation of 3 different disciplines namely art, engineering and construction. And these professionals are responsible for drawing up the plans for and supervising the construction of a building, house or any other structure.



Buildings must be safe, secure, functional, economical, and most of all, must suit the needs of its occupants, and architects consider all these factors and a host of other details while designing a building or other structures.  



Artistic skills, visualization, communication skills, creativity, and ability to work independently or as a part of the team are some of the essentials traits to succeed in this line of work. Basic computer skills are also essential for writing specifications, and for 2D & 3D drafting using CADD programs.



The educational requirement for this profession is a professional degree in architecture.
