BANGALORE: There is a general perception among people that higher the salary, greater will be the stress levels. But that’s not the case always as there are even few careers that are high on pay and low on stress, which is contrary to this popular perception. If you’re aspiring to know more, Take a look at the jobs that are high paying yet low on stress, as listed by Jacquelyn Smith,Vivian Giang of Business Insider.
Orthodontists

Unlike IT jobs the orthodontists don’t need to succumb to stress to meet target deadlines or reporting to their bosses. Their job is more concerned with the study and treatment of misalignment, which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both.
The education requirement is also very eased out as the profession requires just a minimum of 2 years of college level pre-dental education, regardless of the major chosen. However, most dental students have at least a Bachelor’s degree. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics stress tolerance is measured by occupational Information network, with lower scores indicating less stress on the job.

Did you forget you mentioned Ph.D in almost every single job you described that wasn't paying just about on par with a call centre job?

Who is your target audience? Do you realise how long it takes to get a blooming Ph.D? I suppose the author or this retarded articles whips up Ph.D theses as a weekend pass time.
