65 Pct of Working Women Thinks India as a Male Dominated Society

Bangalore: Women have been in the white-collar workforce since more than a century, but most things about them still remain a puzzle.



Here is a brief insight into the minds of working women, as per the survey conducted by ApnaCircle.com.



77 percent of the working women prefer to be employed by business organizations, whereas 23 percent of them prefer to be self-employed or become an entrepreneur. 40 percent of them aspire to continue working after marriage or having a baby and 42 percent of them want to work till the age of 50.   



The secret of success for working women is to keep an ideal work-family balance and the most successful individuals in society have managed to do just that. Teaching, HR & admin, and IT & marketing have emerged as the women-friendly sectors where a major chunk of women have been employed.
