65 Pct of Working Women Thinks India as a Male Dominated Society

Teaching profession constitutes about 18 percent of working women, HR and admin constitutes roughly around 16 percent of working women, and IT & marketing constitutes about 11 percent of working women.



The survey also indicated that most working women are highly motivated and expect to get promoted within a very short span of time. This is evident by the fact that, more than 30 percent of the respondents expected to get promoted within a year of their joining.



It was also revealed that most women are happy with the gender, and 65 percent of them would like to keep it in their next life. 65 percent of them also think that India is a male dominated society.



The study also showed that most working women have developed a liking towards mobile, social gatherings and social media, and preferred to socialize through these entities.
