Lumberjack
Median Salary: $24,340
Hiring Outlook: -9 percent

The invasion of new technologies has put aside old, and especially traditional, careers at risk and lumberjack is such profession that is bearing the brunt.
Increased mechanization of logging operations and improvements in logging equipment has had a direct impact on this field, and as a result this has given rise to lesser demand for timber-cutting and logging workers who work manually.
As the world becomes more digital, less work is done on paper and that in turn has translated to fewer workers needed for hard copy printing jobs. According to the BLS report employment of logging workers is projected to decline by 9 percent by 2022.
TAX EXAMINER AND COLLECTOR
Median Salary: $50,440
Hiring Outlook: -4 percent

With the future being digital, the employment opportunities for tax examiner and collectors certainly looks bleak and disappointing. And to add to this worry the government agencies have not been hiring tax examiners and collectors as much as they did because of budget constraints.
The BLS report notes that employment for these workers is expected to decline by 4 percent by 2022. As the job field depends primarily on future changes to local, state, and federal government budgets the future could be even more disappointing with the newer technology coming into the tax systems.
