IT was the only industrial sector that kept the market afloat during the great recession. It has been and will continue to be the sunshine sector with a wage growth of 4.4 percent and an average salary of approximately 3.3 – 13.29 lakhs per annum, according to the PayScale index.

We live in an information era where our dependence on technology is bound to increase and hence IT firms are consistently trying to increase their technological presence in order to match this ever booming demand.

It is a fact that IT professionals such as systems analysts, webmasters, programmers, etc. managed to weather the recession pretty much unharmed.
