It is not easy to connect with your one time interviewer through professional networks like LinkedIn. And if you ask them directly to be connected at LinkedIn that will be a surprise attack to them and they start doubting on your motives and it can harm you. Instead of asking directly, it is advisable for you to bring some logical reasons to be connected. You should create the situation when you are at the Interview.
