The habit of dumping Data should be ditched as soon as possible. While giving a speech one’s talent and knowledge seems to be on stake and thus to be on a safer side they end up speaking too long, reading too many slides, while neglecting the audience. Delivering more and more data to the audience without connecting to them can just ruin the whole set of presentation.

Not Inspiring
A speech can be boring if it lacks inspiration and emotion. Emotions like joy, sorrow, surprise, hope, excitement, love, empathy, sadness, fear, envy, guilt should be reflected in the speech and a satisfactory analysis should be given in their support. To achieve success in any presentation the speech should be memorable, engaging, persuasive, along with information and inspiration.
