3. Film and Photography:

A bachelor’s degree in film and photography teaches students about the wide range of duties associated with the creation of motion pictures, as well as motion picture history, genres and forms. After the completion of the course, grads are prepared for entry level positions within the film and cinema industry or to pursue a career in photography.

Though film and photography is one of the most sought after and creative field on the Earth, new grad unemployment rate in this field is quite unpleasing. The average salary in this field is only narrowly better than the rate of high school dropouts. In addition, they have to face tough competition in this crowded industry to make a living. Low starting salaries are the norms in this field, even in expensive industry hubs like Mumbai and Delhi. Though film and photography grads are the best paid among all the art majors, they generally manage to make less than a typical graduate degree holder.
