4. Degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies:



Now a days, students are not that much attracted towards studying philosophy and other religious studies Masters Degree, as they think that at this present technological world, these courses are not that useful. Apart from that, these majors though get you a good job of your interest, in most cases you will be paid less. Today’s youngsters are more inclined towards technological innovation; so as a result, that interest has made them least bothered about learning about the religious sentiments and about the philosophy.

Even for the employers, don’t find a Masters in Philosophy and Religious studies that attractive because they are more interested in hiring candidates who are well versed in technological innovation and business related activities. In spite of all these disadvantages of choosing these fields for a college major, you can also expect some good job opportunity with a major in philosophy like philosophy professor, as you would have studied philosophy you would have developed critical thinking and excellent reading skills, so you can also opt for a career in Law field. Apart from that, you can also be a good researcher and a writer.
