Now almost two decades have gone from apartheid, the country has taken up the place it deserves as one of Africa's top tourist destinations.



The country of approximately 52 million people is well known for its landscapes such as Cape Town, Table Mountain, the wine route and game viewing in the Kruger National Park.



However, with all this, crime is a prominent issue in South Africa. And it is a country that has a very high rate of murders, assaults, rapes (adult, child and infant), and other grave issues. Most emigrants from South Africa say that crime was a big factor in their decision to leave the country.
