Ray Dalio

He is the founder of Bridgewater Associates, the company which is the biggest hedge fund in the world.  Dalio set up this American investment management firm in 1975 to advice corporate clients and management of domestic and international currency and interest rate risks. Now, it sells advice to governments and big corporate like Nabisco and McDonalds. He was even selected among one of the 50 Most Influential in Global Finance in 2011 by Bloomberg Markets magazine. “ Dalio also turns out to be an interesting character, making his money based on a set of investment principles (which he won’t share) and running his firm based on a set of management principles (which he does).” Bloomberg says.
