American Executive Virginia Marie "Ginni" Rometty is the first woman to head IBM so far. For seven successive years, she is named as one of the ‘50 Most Powerful Women in Business. She had started her career in General Motors Institute and later moved to IBM. She could add a feather on her cap while spreading the company’s growth strategy by getting the company into the cloud computing and analytical businesses. Among the ten CEOs in the ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’, she is one of the two women listed by Times.
