12. Spain

Annual fees: $1,002

Annual cost of living: $6,004

Total annual cost: $7,006

The next entry in the list is Spain. Thanks to the higher cost of living, which is one of the highest in Europe, the country is slotted at number 12.

11. Taiwan

Annual fees: $3,270

Annual cost of living: $4,987

Total annual cost: $8,257

With the annual tuition fee that is more than three times that of Spain, and with a cost of living that is comparatively high, it is no surprise that Taiwan, which is a little piece of archipelago separated from mainland China, has ended up at the 11th position.

A unique amalgamation of the American and Chinese academic systems is the USP of this vibrant country that is attracting international students.
