#9.North Korea

North Korea is a country in East Asia in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. The country lacks in infrastructure, road maintenance is poor, energy infrastructure is obsolete and in disrepair. Power shortages are chronic and would not be alleviated even by electricity imports because the poorly maintained grid causes significant losses during transmission. Due to crop failures, there is shortage of food caused by general problems, collective farming practices, poor soil quality, insufficient fertilization, and persistent shortages of tractors and fuel. North Korea also strives to develop its own civilian nuclear program, but these efforts are under much international dispute, due to their military applications and concerns about safety.

#10.Eritrea

Eritrea is a multi-ethnic country in the Horn of Africa and its human rights record is considered poor and has worsened. Human rights violations are frequently committed by the government or on behalf of the government. Freedom of speech, press, assembly, and association are limited. Those that practice "unregistered" religions, or escape military duty are arrested and put into prison. Freedom of worship is one of the top reasons thousands of Eritreans flee the country. Domestic and international human rights organizations are not allowed to function in Eritrea.
