Sean "Puffy" Combs Worked As a Talent Director at a Record Label
Sean John Combs, also known by his stage names Puff Daddy, Diddy, and P. Diddy, is an American rapper, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur.   
Born in Harlem, Diddy grew up in Mount Vernon, New York and worked as a talent director at Uptown Records before founding Bad Boy Records in 1993. After his friend, Biggie Smalls, was murdered in 1997, Combs recorded the tribute "I'll be Missing You," which topped the Billboard singles chart for eleven weeks and launched Combs's first album, No Way Out in 1997, to platinum status. Ever since then he has worked with artists like Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige.
Oprah Winfrey Was a TV News Anchor In Baltimore
Oprah’s story is almost unbelievable and yet it is true. Born as a black, Oprah was offered a part-time job at radio station, WVOL AM 1470, in Nashville, at the age of 17 after winning a beauty contest representing the station. It was then in 1976, Oprah left Nashville for a new position as news reporter, where she appeared first as anchor on the 6:00 news in Baltimore.
In 1984, Winfrey left Baltimore for the Windy City to host the half-hour morning talk show AM Chicago. The program was later extended to an hour and renamed The Oprah Winfrey Show. Since then Oprah has grew to new heights by expanding her empire into every medium available.
