This is a part-creative and part-technical job. The professionals engaged in this field will be heavily involved in both technical and graphical aspects of creating a website, and will be completely in charge of the overall design, layout and coding of a website.
Their job description includes meeting the clients to define visual and functional specifications; analyzing client’s business objectives and directions for the web in terms of target audience, branding, product positioning, market and web traffic generation; create the initial look and feel of the website for client approval; create a prototype of the web; and finally deliver the finished product once payment is made.
Essential Skills: Creativity, good eye for design/layout details, proficiency in graphics and HTML tools
Minimum Educational Requirement: Undergraduate Diploma/Certification in Design, Fine Arts or equivalent.
