Financial advisors assist clients on financial affairs such as investment strategies, retirement planning and insurance options. They are responsible for making recommendations on ways to make the most of the financial assets of a client. And their job description includes to advise the clients’ on products / services that are available in the market, carryout appropriate research regarding the marketplace, ensure that the clients are aware of and understand the things that best meet their needs, and finally secure a sale.



As per BLS report, the job opportunities for these professionals are likely to grow by 32 percent from 2010 to 2020.



Holding a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics can help you land an entry level job in this profession. However, most business firms tend to hire individuals with a Master’s degree in business administration. And these professionals take home a hefty pay that is roughly around 1.59 lakh to 14.63 lakh per annum.
