8. Top Norwegian bureaucrat, Liv Loberg: In 2010, Liv Loberg was accused for claiming that she have earned her educational degrees from the London School of Economics, Queen Mary College and Norges Handelshøyskole. But in reality Liv was a high school dropout and just had one year of practical nurse education. She held top administrative positions within health care and other public sectors. Apart from that she was also a former politician for the Progress Party in Norway until this truth of her falsehood was revealed by a journalist. Liv was sentenced to 14 months in prison and was fined 1 million NOK.
