Infrastructure:

The demand for experts in the infrastructure field has increased enormously in India after the Government in India has slowly opened up the infrastructure sector for private companies. Aseem  Juneja reported that the private companies at present are looking to hire the candidates who have the experience in infrastructure development. Lakshmikanth added that the hirers are looking more into experienced candidates from Australia and other countries than the U.S., because the infrastructure development in the United States has happened longtime back. He also said that, as there are more modern developmental activities happening in countries like Australia, hirers in India are looking upon experienced from those countries as they will be highly experienced about the current developmental trends.

Telecom:

This is another sector where more number of NRIs are been hired in the recent days. However, the telecom sector in India has seen an explosive growth in subscriber base and volumes, explains Juneja. The telecom sector is in need of highly skilled workforce to build applications and bring up innovative services. And, as these skills are very less found in the candidates here, the telecom companies are looking forward to hire candidates from outside the country basically from U.S. and other developed nations.
