1. Pramod Bhasin:
Promod Bhasin, the Vice Chairman of Genpact asked the question, “Why you are here and what is it that drives you?”
Here, by asking this question, Pramod is actually looking for such young leaders who have the hunger to climb up the career ladder and what have they planned to reach the top in the career stream?
Bhasin, also said that, the present generation employees have been changing the jobs quite often, even without knowing about their long-term goals. If they want to become young leaders, they need to have clear focusing capacity and need to know about their commitment.
2. Vineet Nayar:
Vineet Nayar, Vice Chairman and Joint Managing Director at HCL Technologies asked the question, “What is it that can define you as an individual? How have you prepared for this interview process? If you could back to your previous company as a CEO, what are the types of changes you are going to implement in the company at that time?
This question was asked because; he wants to know how well the young leaders know about their strengths and weaknesses and how clear their thought process is?
Vineet Nayar, said that, all the textbook answers given to show up the leadership qualities won’t help anyone in making future leaders.
